About Jim Kitts
I’m Jim Kitts — engineer, operator, and founder of Warehouse Whisper. For over 25 years, I’ve lived at the intersection of supply chain strategy, logistics, engineering, and technology. My career has taken me across North America, Central America, Europe, and Asia, leading projects that reshaped how companies move, store, and deliver products.
What drives me is simple: helping people achieve results they didn’t think were possible. From designing a million-square-foot e-commerce facility for Kohl’s, to helping Tom’s Shoes and Prince Tennis launch retail replenishment programs, to scaling iHerb beyond a billion dollars in sales, I’ve seen firsthand how the right mix of design, leadership, and technology transforms operations.
Along the way, I’ve worked with some of the brightest minds in supply chain and learned from leaders who pushed me to think bigger and act bolder. Those experiences shaped not just my approach to warehouse design and operations, but also my leadership philosophy: build scalable systems, create great places to work, and never stop innovating.
I’ve held leadership roles at global brands like Staples, Ingram Micro, and Raymond West, focusing on system integration, WMS development, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement. At every step, my focus has been the same: operational excellence, safety, and profitability.
Warehouse Whisper is where I bring those lessons together. Here, I share practical strategies, proven frameworks, and insights from the field to help warehouse leaders — whether you’re running a startup facility or a global network — unlock the full potential of your operations.
This isn’t theory. It’s real-world experience, tested in high-pressure environments where mistakes cost millions and success fuels growth.
If you’re ready to design smarter, leaner, and safer warehouses, you’re in the right place.
Let’s get to work.
