Hello, I’m Jim Kitts, an engineer and operator with over 25 years of experience in supply chain strategy, logistics, engineering, and technology. Based in Los Angeles, California, I’ve dedicated my career to transforming warehouse operations through innovative solutions, fostering environments of scalability, hypergrowth, and developing my personal leadership style.Â
My journey has taken me across North America and Europe, designing, managing, and implementing projects that have enhanced fulfillment and distribution operations. I am passionate about helping others achieve results they didn’t believe possible. I’ve been “speaking warehouse” for a while now.
As the Founder and CEO of Kitts Associates, I’ve been at the forefront of supply chain logistics, retail distribution, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), and e-commerce operations.Â
My experience includes systems integrations, WMS development, continuous improvement, Six Sigma, and lean, as well as fostering a Great Place to Work culture.
My expertise spans operational design, inventory control, best practices, lean and Six Sigma, and implementing tech solutions that drive profitability and customer satisfaction.Â
I was with Staples when we held the #2 e-commerce position next to Amazon. I built a team that opened a one-million-square-foot e-commerce operation for Kohl’s. Â
I helped companies like Tom’s Shoes and Prince Tennis enter the retail replenishment and e-commerce markets. I supported the growth at iHerb to over a billion dollars in worldwide sales.
Recently, I worked at the world’s largest technology distribution company, Ingram Micro.
