Find out where your building breaks before peak does.
A one-week operations review from someone who has run buildings, not just designed them. You send the data. I walk the floor. In five days you know where you’re losing time and money, and what to fix first.
Who This Is For:
Built for DC and fulfillment leaders running one to a few buildings, with a WMS or ERP and no time to dig through the data. Not a fit if you want an equipment quote or a long consulting engagement.
What You Get:
- Order profile. Units and lines per order, single vs. multi-line mix, your real peak hour and peak day.
- SKU velocity and slotting. Which SKUs drive the work, and whether they’re stored where they should be.
- Labor picture. Where the hours go by function and shift, what’s driving overtime, and where labor is out of balance.
- Peak-day simulation. A flow model of your building at peak. You change the inputs and watch where it backs up. Try the sample model →
- The floor walk. The part the data can’t show you: process workarounds, maintenance backlog, shift-to-shift differences, and the leadership habits behind the numbers.
- First moves. The two or three changes with the biggest payback, ranked, with no equipment to sell.
How It Works:
- Day 0: A 20-minute call about what’s hurting and what “better” looks like.
- Day 1: NDA signed and data received. Four standard exports from your WMS or ERP. Messy is fine.
- Days 2–4: Analysis, simulation, and a site visit to walk every shift.
- Day 5: A written readout and a working session with your team.
Why me?
I’ve spent 25+ years in warehouse operations: running buildings, turning them around, launching automation, and leading engineering for multi-site networks at Kohl’s, Staples, iHerb and Ingram Micro.
At Staples, I took a 35,000-order-a-day e-commerce building from $2M over budget to $2M under in one year. Productivity nearly doubled, and safety went from one of the worst sites in the network to one of the best. Most of that wasn’t math. It was culture, accountability and leadership, with the data to point the way.
That’s the review: the math and the building, together.
Founding clients
I’m taking on five founding clients this quarter at no cost. In return I ask for two things: permission to share an anonymized case study (you approve it first), and a short testimonial if the work was useful.
Your data
Your data is used only for your review, kept in a private workspace, and deleted within 30 days unless you ask me to keep it. I’ll sign your NDA before anything moves.
FAQs
Why not just run my data through an AI tool?
You can, and you should. AI is good at summarizing a data file. It can’t walk your floor, see the workaround on second shift, or tell which finding is worth fixing first given your labor and your peak. I use the data to know where to look, check it against the building, and run the working session so your team owns the fixes.
Is it really free?
Yes, for the five founding clients this quarter. In return I ask for a short testimonial and permission to publish an anonymized case study you approve first. After the founding slots, reviews are paid.
What do you need from my team?
A 20-minute call, the data pull, time on the floor with your leads, and the Day 5 working session.
What happens after the review?
You get the ranked list and the first fixes, and you keep the work. If you want help executing, we can talk. I don’t sell equipment.
